L’Esperance Mandolin Ensemble brings four centuries of music to the Congregational Church of Grafton. From Bach’s sublime Concerto for Oboe and Violin to Edward German’s Three Dances from Henry the VIII and contemporary masterpieces for the mandolin by Steven Antonelli, Michael Bell and Jim Dalton, l’Esperance brings the unique voices of mandolin family instruments to a diverse program of classical, contemporary and world music.

L’Esperance features musicians from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and Connecticut of different backgrounds and ages who come together to enjoy the pleasure of making music with each other. Since 1994, l’Esperance has been sharing that joy with audiences around New England. Our music ranges from classical to contemporary, from Celtic to Klezmer, from rock standards to Baroque.

Want to make music with us? L’Esperance gathers Saturday mornings at 9:00 in the Church of the Mediator in Providence. Call 401-345-6930 or email us at josh@lesperancemandolin.com for more information or to arrange a free Try Your Pluck Mandolin Lesson.
